Community Market of Pottawatomie County
The Community Market of Pottawatomie County, located at 120 South Center in Shawnee, is a Food Resource Center that operates in cooperation with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to serve the people of Pottawatomie County and partner with other food pantries, community, civic, and faith-based organizations. The Community Market seeks to meet the overall health and wellness needs of a person’s spirit, soul and body. The market provides access to food with extended hours and days of operation, gives clients a choice when shopping, puts an emphasis on nutritional foods and provides additional resources to clients to improve family stability. On August 18th, PTC employees had the opportunity to serve at the market during the United Way Days of Caring.
PTC Employees employees had a blast at the United Way Days of Caring After School party at the Salvation Army in Shawnee on August 17th.
